Rocky: 20, heavy-set, Latinx. Rocky is resilient, kind, and possesses a unique gift for healing. She's entangled in money woes and going through (yet another) family rough patch. Her potential is limitless, but she needs a helping hand. We feel badly for her, pull for her, want her to succeed.
Honey: 67, Pat and Erica's agent. She's "white," though she's become an orange, shriveled stereotype of herself over the years. She's convinced she's going "back to the big times." She probably used to mean well, but time has changed that and now she will trade anything for another crack at real success. She'll drag Pat and Erica through the mud.
Denise: 40, Filipino-American. The Cortina Director of Financial Aid. She's the only other kind-hearted, empathetic administrator at Cortina. Her young son is "on the spectrum" and she is consistently challenged by him and his needs. She will push Pat and Erica in unexpected ways.
